Making A Great First Impression
Dr. Oliver and her team use the iTero system to capture images of your teeth and gum tissue. This scan is a highly accurate, digital 3D image of the individual characteristics of your current smile. The iTero scanner is all about keeping you comfortable while delivering precise imagery, without the goop or gagging associated with conventional impressions. In addition to being more comfortable than conventional impressions, the digital scan can also be used for Invisalign® services that are used to deliver the beautiful smile of your dreams! Accuracy without The Goop Or Gag!
Georgetown Orthodontics we place a high value on maintaining proper sterilization techniques and abiding by the rules and regulations of OSHA. Dr. Oliver and her team use only the most modern techniques and equipment available within our industry. All instruments are ultrasonically scrubbed and then sterilized in a high heat steam autoclave machine. The instruments are sealed in protective bags before the sterilization process and remain in these until they are brought to the treatment chair. We test our sterilizers on a daily basis to insure the safest environment for all of our patients.
Maximum image quality, minimum dose for the patient. The revolutionary design of our MyRay X-ray machine merge with HyperSphere technology, advanced ergonomics and technological innovation to provide you with ultra-sharp images. With less radiation, our digital x-rays are used to clearly illustrate and describe problems that may need orthodontic correction. These high-quality x-rays allow Dr. Oliver and her team to develop a customized treatment plan for each patient.
Accelerated Treatment Options
Since the 1950s, periodontists had been using corticotomy
procedures to increase the rate of tooth movement. Use of the Propel device offers distinct advantages over the other current options available. The Propel system facilitates the physiological healing process by creating alveolar perforations to make orthodontic treatments like Invisalign® and traditional braces more efficient. The Propel device is specifically designed and patented to maximize the remodeling process by creating micro osteo-perforations that accelerate the stimulation of bone production in the upper and lower jaw. Many Propel patients will find that their teeth are straightened much quicker with this treatment than with just invisalign or traditional braces alone.
At Georgetown Orthodontics, our paperless office allows Dr. Oliver and her team to seamlessly access all of the information required to insure that your treatment proceeds as smoothly as possible. We utilize only the most up to date technology to present our treatment recommendations. X-rays, photographs, and treatment notes can be brought up instantly on any of our chairside monitors to assist with explaining the treatment process.
After taking our low radiation X-rays, we do a digital analysis using our high tech soft ware and then develop a customized treatment plan for each patient. With Tops CephMate technology, the process is fast, easy and reliable. This allows Dr. Oliver to accurately describe the recommeneded treatment plan that she and her team customize to suit each of her patients.
